Digiera has launched OmniCore, a modular all-flash network attached storage system built on M.2 NVMe SSDs. Reaching speeds up to five times faster than HDD systems, the device utilizes integrated local AI to organize files without cloud connectivity. The system comes in three configurations: Base, Pro, and Ultra. The Base model supports 56TB across six bays, while Pro and Ultra versions support 144TB across eight bays. AI Search enables natural language queries, and AI Album uses image recognition to identify objects, scenes, and text. The higher-tier Pro and Ultra models include 32GB to 64GB of RAM, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and 10GbE networking. These units also feature AI Transcription and an AI Creative Assistant for generating highlight reels. Shipping begins in January 2027, with the Base model starting at a $799 backer price and the Ultra retailing for $2,999.
