Evoto has launched version 8.0, expanding its desktop and mobile apps with tools designed to streamline high-volume photography workflows. A new Story-Based Culling feature organizes frames into chapters, using Storyline Mode for narrative sets like weddings and General Mode for visually similar subjects like real estate or products. The update also brings portrait retouching to Evoto Video, allowing for consistent edits across hundreds of frames in a single clip. This tool integrates directly with DaVinci Resolve 19. The mobile app now supports tethered capture, while the desktop version gains a redesigned home screen and an SDK for scripted production tasks. Additionally, the new Asset Hub marketplace allows photographers to buy and sell presets, AI looks, and backgrounds. Creators who sell through the hub retain 60% of net sales, with pricing tiers ranging from $2 to $199.
