Located in southern Bahia, Vila Marebo is a 200-square-metre residential project completed in 2025. Designed by Frederico Zanelato | Arquitetos, the structure consists of two independent blocks linked by a footbridge and a central pergola. The layout functions as a village that occupies the lot, utilizing fluid zoning to define pathways and surrounding spaces. Managed by coordination leads Frederico Zanelato and Marcelo Marchesini, the design prioritizes environments for leisure and sensory experience. Civil engineering was handled by PROJETARENG, with services provided by ETEC. The architectural strategy emphasizes physical connections between separate living units to encourage movement through the site. By integrating the footbridge and pergola, the design transforms transitional areas into functional environments. Photographs by Oka Fotografia document the project’s spatial organization and its relationship to the local Caraíva landscape.
